You (yes, you) need to vote on or before November 8th (and bring a friend)!

You can look at a sample ballot here: November 8, 2022 General Election Sample Ballots | Johnson County (johnsoncountyiowa.gov)

You can vote early in person at the Auditor's Office (913 S. Dubuque St) or drive through next to the county health and human services building (855 S. Dubuque St.) every weekday from October 19 - November 7. It's easy!

There are also a number of satellite sites, including public libraries, the IMU, Purpose Place (formerly the Dream Center) and more. You can find the full early voting schedule here: November 8, 2022 General Election Early Voting Locations | Johnson County (johnsoncountyiowa.gov)

Finally, election day is November 8. You can vote at your precinct - if you don't know where that is, you can put in your address here and find out: Johnson County, Iowa Polling Places (johnsoncountyiowa.gov). Polls are open from 7am - 8pm.

If you have requested an absentee ballot, I urge you to do your research and vote as soon as you receive your ballot! You can take it to the drop box at the auditor's office, take it into the office or mail it - but because the timeline has been shortened, please get your ballot in asap.

Finally - I urge you to vote for Democrats all the way down the ballot. And please do not forget to turn the ballot over. I hope you will do your research, then vote "NO" on the gun amendment, which would prevent us from having any common sense gun safety laws going forward.
